Girl Scouts of the USA are expanding their famous annual cookie drive beyond human tastebuds. On September 9, 2026, the organization announced Patch Pals, its first-ever baked treat specifically created for dogs. Formulated in partnership with canine treat company BARK, these soft-baked snack biscuits feature a blueberry muffin flavor and are stamped with four distinct Scout-inspired patch emblems. The pup-friendly initiative stems from direct feedback by young scouts who wanted their four-legged family members to take part in the annual fundraising tradition.

Available exclusively online for direct shipping starting January 12, 2027, the canine treats aim to offer pet owners a way to share the seasonal excitement without breaking strict dietary rules for dogs.

Alongside the canine debut, the Girl Scouts are also launching Sparkables, their first allergy-conscious option for human consumers. Developed in collaboration with Partake Foods, these crunchy oatmeal cookies are packed with chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles while avoiding the top nine common food allergens. Both additions mark one of the biggest updates to the Scout snack catalog in recent years.
